With more and more vehicles on the roads than ever before and a poor number of adequate public parking spaces, it has become a burden beyond belief. People are more often using private car parking areas, shop fronts and any space they can to try and dump their vehicle even for a moment. If you provide parking for your staff, customers, visitors etc. it can be a major headache when someone has pinched a space, parked in a disabled zone, inconsiderately parked or simply taken up valuable space for a paying customer. We at Cobra Security will relieve those pressures simply, professionally and cost effectively, allowing you to concentrate on what you do best - your business.

Wheel clamping is a sensitive issue and our aim is to always ensure that the motorist is clearly informed of the parking restrictions by using large clear prominently located warning signs displaying the restrictions. All our personnel are fully vetted to BS7858:2006 standards and are fully uniformed. Our vehicles are highly visible.

We strive to ensure offenders are treated in a courteous, professional and fair manner. All immobilisations are carried out to the letter of the law.

All our staff have completed a BTEC Level 2 Award in Vehicle Immobilisation & Conflict Management and are currently licensed with the SIA as required by law.

We do not want to fill your car park with numerous immobilised vehicles so any offending vehicle not removed within a few hours will be taken away to be safely returned to the owner/driver when they are available.

If you have been clamped.

Keep calm, don't lose your temper or attempt to remove a wheel clamp - you could be sued for criminal damage. You could also be prosecuted for theft if you keep the wheel clamp.

Contact the 0800 634 1673 and ask for a release. Please give the location of the immobilised vehicle and the registration.

Wait patiently for the removal vehicle to attend. We will be there as soon as is possible.

Please note we will not tolerate rude, abusive and threatening behaviour to any of our staff. We will not respond for a release if we feel the situation places our staff at risk. The Police may be requested to attend to avoid a breach of the peace, which could mean it takes longer to release your vehicle. We will act in a courteous manner and expect the same in return. We are just doing our jobs!
